SUBLIMATION PRINTING

Sublimation printing is a full color, straight from the computer type of printing using a heat transfer method. Unlike traditional heat transfer paper, sublimation ink goes fully into the garment, so the texture is just like the shirt. 

• Sublimation printing can only be done on white or light colored garments. If the color of your image is lighter than the shirt you are trying to print on, it will not show up. 

• Sublimation printing can only be done on 60% polyester or higher garments. 100% cotton does not work for sublimation.

• Design dimensions are up to 8.5 x 11"

Prices for sublimation printing are as follows:

• Baseline price of $20 for materials

• $3.50 printing price per item

• Cost of items (can be purchased by SOUR DICE or customer. Please consult with SOUR DICE before purchasing items).

TRADITIONAL SCREENPRINTING

Traditional screen printing can be done with one color. Screen is made in-studio with provided design. Please submit designs as an image or vector file. Designs should be high contrast. 

• I can only screen print in one color. Color range below for full color selection. 

• I print traditionally with eco-friendly water based ink. Water based ink is opaque, but does not show up well on dark colors.

• Plastisol, or plastic-based ink is available in Black and White for complex screen designs. Plastisol ink incurs additional fees.

Prices for traditional WATER BASED screen printing are as follows:

• Baseline price of $35 for custom screen

• Printing price per item will vary by size of design.

• Cost of items (can be purchased by SOUR DICE or customer. Please consult with SOUR DICE before purchasing blanks.​

For plastisol, a flat $10 ink charge will be added to all orders.

DIRECT TO GARMENT PRINTING

Direct-to-garment printing is a highly specialized, computerized printing method that sprays ink from a computerized image onto a garment. This sort of printing is great for multi-color, detailed designs like photographs, and works well on any color blank. Direct-to-garment printing varies in price by size and blank, more details can be given once artwork is seen.

• Estimate a price of about $7-$20 per item when using direct-to-garment printing.​​​

DIRECT TO FILM PRINTING

Direct to film printing is another full color, computerized printing method that works great on darker colors, yet instead of the print being sprayed onto the garment, it is created as a sort of sticker that is adhered. Looks great and vibrant, but does have a slight textural feel. 

• Price varies greatly depending on size, can be a much cheaper alternative to DTG and Screenprinting.
